The Petrelli Fig is an exceptional and rare fig variety prized for its large, dark purple-skinned fruit and intensely sweet, berry-like flavor. With a deep red, jammy interior, this fig is perfect for fresh snacking, gourmet recipes, and homemade preserves. The Petrelli Fig is known for its dense, honey-like texture, making it a favorite among fig enthusiasts.
This variety is a vigorous grower that thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, producing abundant fruit in the late summer to early fall. It is well-suited for warm climates but can also be grown in containers for those in cooler regions. The Petrelli Fig tree is relatively low-maintenance, making it ideal for both experienced growers and beginners looking to expand their fig collection.
If you’re searching for a high-quality, delicious fig variety with large, beautiful fruit and a rich, complex flavor, the Petrelli Fig is an excellent addition to your garden or orchard!
Terms and Conditions:
***Please be sure to read our Terms and Conditions before purchasing cuttings***
When do we ship cuttings?
Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):
We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.
**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.
Rooted Cuttings(Spring):
We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
