Del Sen Jaume Gran Fig
Del Sen Juame Gran is a Spanish fig. It is a later ripening variety. Del Sen Jaume Gran can often have an open eye. Like Black Madeira, these figs can split. However, they are often still edible and unspoiled despite splitting. Splitting is known to subside once the trees have become established for a few years.

With a name that means “large,” Del Sen Juame Gran doesn’t disappoint. The extra-large figs are covered in a pretty green and purple skin. Coloration will vary depending on growing conditions. When cutting the two-toned figs, you’ll find a strawberry colored flesh that is jammy and syrupy. Fig growers have ranked this variety with I258 and Black Madeira as being a great all around fig for tree growth, fig size, and flavor.
But wow- when you add them to a cheese tray or present them as part of dessert at your next dinner party — you’ll floor your guests! A must have for any size fig variety collection, the Del Sen Jaume fig will definitely sell fast so be sure to grab yours before its gone!

When do we ship cuttings?
Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):
We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.
**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refridgerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.
Rooted Cuttings(Spring):
We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
