Details
Calderona De Miner figs are round and have black/purple skin. Their red pulp has an intense, dark berry flavor. The texture is syrupy with a mild seed crunch. Growers have noted that these figs are packed with pulp, and not much room is lost to the cavity. Calderona De Miner is a common variety, not requiring wasp pollination. This fig’s skin is said to be soft and the eye slightly open, so beware of pests that might want to sample this specimen. Calderona De Miner is considered a rare variety, and certainly one to try for yourself!

When do we ship cuttings?
Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):
We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.
**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refridgerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.
Rooted Cuttings(Spring):
We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
