Honor Someone Special with Beautiful Flowers

Every life has a unique story. At Kremp Florist, we have the
perfect flowers to celebrate each one.  The
flowers you choose for a service become a quiet, meaningful part of how that
story is remembered.

They can reflect a favorite flower, their favorite color, highlight
a passion, or simply express the deep love felt by family and friends.

At Kremp Florist, we understand that ordering funeral
flowers is very different from shopping for any other occasion. You may be
making decisions quickly, navigating unfamiliar logistics, or trying to convey
feelings that seem impossible to put into words.

With 3 generations of funeral flower experience, you are in good
hands. Our experienced floral guides are here to help you select an arrangement
that is respectful, appropriate for the venue, and deeply personal to the
family.

Choosing the Right Funeral Flowers

There is no single arrangement that fits every service. Your
relationship with the deceased and family preferences help guide the right
choice.  There are plenty of appropriate
pieces that can be sent even when there are no guidelines.

Standing Funeral Sprays

Standing sprays are among the most prominent and traditional
tributes. Prominently displayed on an easel, each standing spray is placed near
the casket(by the funeral director). These are typically sent by extended
family members, close friends, coworkers, businesses, or organizations to show their
respects.

Funeral Wreaths, Hearts & Crosses

These arrangements are also delivered on their own easels(no
extra charge).  Choose your favorite
shape from 3 common designs:

  • Wreaths:
Symbolize eternal life, unity, and unending remembrance.
  • Hearts:
Express tender love and deep affection.
  • Crosses:
Frequently chosen for faith-based services to celebrate spiritual hope.

These pieces can create a striking focal point during
viewings and services.

Casket Flowers

Casket flowers or casket sprays rest directly atop the
casket and are traditionally selected by the immediate family. Full casket
sprays are designed for closed-casket services, while half-casket sprays are
crafted for open-casket viewings.

Funeral Baskets & Sympathy Arrangements

Not every floral gift needs to be large or formal and some
of the most popular items we send for funeral services and memorials are funeral
baskets and sympathy arrangements.  While
funeral baskets are one-sided like the standing sprays, sympathy arrangements
are smaller bouquets typically for tabletop placement.  They provide a comforting presence throughout
the chapel and are often taken home by the family of the deceased. They are an
ideal choice for friends, neighbors, coworkers, and smaller groups.

Let Your Flowers Tell Their Story

The most memorable tributes are those that capture the
essence of the person being remembered.

  • Maybe
she cherished pink roses. Maybe white was her favorite color.
  • Maybe
his backyard garden was overflowing with bright sunflowers every summer.
  • Maybe
they loved vibrant colors, served honorably in the military, held strong
faith, or cheered for their favorite hometown team. All are scenarios that
would allow us to design with the appropriate flowers or colors.

Those small details matter. A funeral arrangement doesn't
have to feel generic or distant. Adding custom colors, favorite blooms,
personalized ribbons, or specialty touches transforms a floral piece into a
true celebration of a life.

What Should I Write on a Funeral Card?

When emotions are heavy, finding the right words can feel
overwhelming. Remember that your message doesn't need to be long — sincerity is
what matters.  Sometimes a simple message
will be just as meaningful.

Simple, traditional messages include:

  • "Forever
    in our hearts."
  • "With
    deepest sympathy.”
  • “In
    loving remembrance."
  • "In
loving memory of a wonderful life."
  • "Praying
for peace and comfort during this time."
  • “Our
thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.”

If you knew the person well, sharing a favorite memory or
simply reminding the family how much their loved one meant to you provides
incredible comfort. The goal isn't finding perfect prose — it's letting the
family know they aren't alone.

How to Send Funeral Flowers

We make sending funeral forwards simple and stress-free:

  1. Choose
    your bouquet:
Select from our wide range of standing sprays, wreaths,
casket sprays, casket adornments, cremation flowers or sympathy designs.
  2. Add
    Your Message:
Write a brief note of comfort for the card.
  3. Provide
    Service Details:
Share the name of the deceased, the funeral home,
church, or venue, and the service time if known. Not to worry- even if you
don’t know the time, submit the order without it.  We double check all funeral orders to
ensure we have the proper delivery details.  We will connect with the funeral
director or church and deliver according to their schedule.
  4. Timely
    Delivery Guaranteed:
Your arrangement arrives fresh and perfectly
    staged before guests arrive.

💡 Don't have all the
details right now? That's completely fine. Call our floral team and we’ll help
you with any questions.

What If the Family Requested "In Lieu of
Flowers"?

Many obituaries include a request asking for charitable
donations "in lieu of flowers." It is always thoughtful to honor this
request for the main service itself.

However, sending flowers is still completely appropriate.
Sending a comforting floral arrangement or plant directly to the family's home
a few days after the service provides a quiet, lasting reminder that you are
still thinking of them long after the funeral ends. It is common to still see
flowers at funeral services even when there is an “in lieu of flowers” message
posted.

Decades of Funeral Flower Experience When Details Matter Most

For over 65 years, three generations of the Kremp family
have helped people honor loved ones through life's most delicate moments. We
are happy to assist you with your order.

We know that a funeral delivery isn't just another delivery
— it carries a story, a family's grief, and a final farewell. We take full
responsibility for making sure every arrangement is dignified, fresh, and
delivered on time.

Funeral Flower Delivery FAQs

How far in advance should I order funeral flowers?

Preferably as soon as you receive the service details. Since
funerals are scheduled quickly, ordering early gives us time to ensure your
selected flowers or plants are not only in stock but also looking perfect
leading up to the service. That being said, we can still accept last minute
funeral flower orders right up til the day of the service.  We can even do same day funeral flower
delivery as long as there is time to make and deliver in time.

Can flowers be delivered directly to a church or funeral
home?

Definitely- that is actually the most common delivery we
make.  Delivering directly to the funeral
home, chapel, church, or cemetery is part of our service. Simply provide the
facility name and service time during checkout.

What if I don't know the exact service time?

Provide all the information you have.  We should be able to take care of it from
there and fill in the necessary blanks.  If
there are any questions, we will reach out to you. Our staff routinely contacts
funeral directors directly to verify viewing times and delivery windows.

What is the difference between a casket spray and a
standing spray?

A casket spray lies across the top of the casket and is
chosen exclusively by the immediate family. A standing spray is mounted on an
easel near the casket or altar and is sent by friends, extended family, or
organizations. Both are gorgeous and extremely common for funeral services.

Can I send flowers directly to the family's residence?

Yes, this is another common option that some customers
choose to select. Sending a sympathy gift like a vase arrangement, basket
arrangement or plant directly to the family's address is always an appropriate
and warm expression of sympathy. The day of the funeral can be a lot so giving
them some time after the service before delivery can be a nice gesture.
