Prom Flowers Made Simple & Stress-Free
You already have enough on your plate leading up to prom
night:
- Dress
or suit details - Hair,
makeup, and shoes - Dinner
reservations and group transportation - Pre-prom
picture locations (and 200 group texts figuring it out!)
Your prom flowers should not be complicated… and that’s
where we come in!
For more than 65 years, Kremp Florist has helped generations
of prom-goers look their absolute best. We make it easy to select beautiful
corsages and boutonnieres that pull your entire look together with effortless
style.
Find Your Perfect Prom Floral Style
Prom Wrist Corsages
The traditional prom corsage has evolved into a stylish
fashion accessory! Today’s wrist corsages are lightweight, comfortable, and often
designed on keepsake bracelets that feel like jewelry. We blend fresh flowers,
delicate greens, ribbon, and even decorative accents to enhance your dress without
overpowering it. They look amazing in
pictures and don’t weigh down your arm.
Prom Boutonnieres
Small detail with a massive impact. A custom boutonniere
adds a finishing touch to a suit or tuxedo lapel. While classic rose
boutonnieres are always the top choice, modern options featuring orchids, dried
flowers, succulents, bling, and even things like folded comic books(yes- we
have that too). Whether you are looking
to stand out or blend in, we have you covered either way.
Matching Corsage & Boutonniere Flower Packages
Want to make ordering completely effortless? Choose a
coordinated prom flower package to ensure both the corsage and boutonniere
match perfectly! Complementary pairs take all the guesswork out of ordering
separately, ensuring both dates look effortlessly synchronized in pictures and
on the dance floor.
How to Match Your Flowers to Your Prom Outfit
You don't need an exact fabric swatch match to create a
stunning look. Here is how our floral designers recommend pairing colors:
- Bold
or Patterned Dresses: Pair vibrant dresses (like deep red, navy, or
emerald) with neutral white, cream, or pastel flowers wrapped in
complementary ribbon for a chic, high-contrast look. If the dress does the talking, the
flowers just need to be an accent. - Black,
White, or Metallic Attire: Neutral attire gives you total freedom!
Choose bright, colorful flowers to add a dramatic pop of color, or stick
to monochrome whites and greens for classic elegance. Your outfit is the canvas- let the
flowers pop! - Coordinating
With Your Date: The boutonniere doesn't have to be identical to the
corsage. Using similar accent colors, ribbon, or greenery ties both
outfits together naturally.
Not sure what will look best? Email us a photo of the
outfit, and our design team will help you choose the ideal combination!
Simple Step-by-Step Prom Flower Ordering
Here is how easy it is:
- Select
Your Items: Choose a wrist corsage, lapel boutonniere, or package. - Customize
Your Colors: Tell us your dress/tux colors and select your ribbon and
accent details. - Set
The Delivery Date: Choose your date (typically the morning of prom or
late afternoon prior). - Shine
in Every Photo: Keep flowers in the fridge(not the freezer) until
ready to wear, then enjoy your night!
How to Keep Your Prom Flowers Fresh All Night
To ensure your corsage and boutonniere look camera-ready
from pre-prom photos to the final dance, follow these simple steps:
- Keep
Them Cold: Store your flowers in the refrigerator (away from fruit)
inside their sealed clear container until it's time to put them on. - Put
Them On Last: Put on corsages and boutonnieres after hairspray,
perfume, and makeup are done to prevent chemical damage to delicate
petals. - Handle
With Care: Wear wrist corsages on your non-dominant hand so they don't
get bumped while eating or dancing. - Avoid
rubbing the petals: Most flowers get bruised easily with their
colorful petals are pressed, bumped or rubbed. Keep them safe and they’ll look great!

Prom Flowers FAQs
When should I have my prom flowers delivered?
We recommend scheduling delivery for your prom flowers on
the day of prom or the late afternoon before. Keep them in the refrigerator
until you are dressed and ready to take photos. If your pictures start in the
early afternoon, we’d recommend deliver the day before so you aren’t wondering
when your flowers will arrive the day of prom.
How do I attach a boutonniere properly?
Hold the boutonniere upright on the left suit lapel (just
below the collar). From behind the lapel, insert the provided pin diagonally
through the fabric, through the stem of the boutonniere, and back out through
the lapel fabric to secure it firmly. There are also several videos online
showing the process.
What if I don't know my date's exact dress color?
When in doubt, choose classic white or cream flowers with
silver, gold, or green accents! White flowers match every dress color perfectly
and look sophisticated in photos. You
can never go wrong with white prom flowers.
Can I customize the ribbon or bracelet on a corsage?
Yes! We have a huge selection of ribbon colors, rhinestone
bands, bling, pearl bracelets, and decorative accents to help make you stand
out on prom night.
Make Your Look Complete
The outfit gets you ready. The flowers complete the look.
Choose a corsage, boutonniere, or matching set that
highlights your style, and let Kremp Florist help make every detail of prom
night unforgettable.
