Vasilika Black is a black fig from Greece. It is said to be one of the best tasting Greek figs, with an attractive dark purple skin and round shape.
Raspberry Latte is not the newest Starbucks flavor–the wild seedling was discovered growing under a coffee tree in San Diego, CA! Raspberry Latte is late ripening, with figs ready for harvest from late September to October. With good resistance to splitting, this variety has been recommended for east coast growers with moderately long to long growing seasons.
Pel de Bou comes from the island of Mallorca, where it was part of Montserrat Pons’ collection. This is one of the few early ripening varieties from Pons, so it’s great for northern growers with shorter seasons.
Napolitana Blanca is a large white fig. It has very light green skin covering its round shape. The fig has a light red pulp and moderate berry flavor. Some have enjoyed this fig dried to intensify the flavor.
Italian 320 can also be shortened to I-320. This variety originally comes from Dr. Giorgio Grassi, who numbered his extensive fig collection. Dr. Grassi led a famous fig-growing project at UC Davis, which also produced the beloved fig, I-258, among many others. I-320 is said to be comparable to I-258 in its esteem.
Belvedere (BVR) is a fig with attractive green skin. The figs are drop shaped with a thick neck. Inside the medium sized fruits is bright red pulp.
Sbayi is a pretty purple fig from Israel. The round fig holds yellow and red pulp with a moderate berry flavor. Take a bite and you’ll meet firm skin followed by syrupy pulp.
Peu de Porc is a black fig that comes from Spain. The small fig is firm and round. Under the dark skin is red pulp with a good honey flavor.
Mega Celeste is a fig with yellow/brown skin. The figs are large and teardrop shaped. The figs have a beautiful pink pulp with a sweet berry flavor.
Jade (Aurora’s) is originally from the Algarve region of Portugal. It was a wild seedling, found growing in Aurora’s garden. The highly productive variety comes from the collection of Harvey of Figaholics.
Super Red is a hybrid fig from East Asia. With a round shape, red skin, and starry pattern of white dots, Super Red reminds you of a delicious apple.
TC12 is an oblong fig with dark plum skin. The beautiful figs can also have a chalky blue color to them. The skin is thin and good for eating.
Verdal Ibiza is a fig with green/yellow skin and red pulp. The round figs are a small variety, weighing in around 15-20 grams.
Uzun Bogaz is a rare fig from Azerbaijan. It has a long neck and the skin is golden yellow with some brown blushing on it.
Cap Terra Hava figs originally come from Palestine. Many people think this variety is a carica-palmatum hybrid, making it an aggressive grower with thick roots and large leaves. The name Cap Terra Hava may translate to something along the lines of “the cup the earth gives.”

Unghiarolo is a fig with an unusual name that translates to “fingernail” in Italian. It is named “fingernail” because each fig grows a distinct extra piece of skin that resembles a fingernail. If that didn’t put you in the mood to try this delicious fig, consider its red skin with blotches of yellow, and very sweet honey berry flavor instead.
The One is a variety of small, ribbed figs. The figs are beloved by growers for their resistance to splitting in high humidity and their early ripening.

Causses de Vers is a French fig variety that originally comes from Thierry in France.
Black Bethlehem is an extremely productive variety with mature trees bearing 10-15 pounds of fruit. Its productivity and cold hardiness have been compared to the Hardy Chicago variety. The fig has black skin, intense strawberry flavor, some 3 lobed leaves, and small-medium sized fruit.
