strawberry-guava-fig
Strawberry Guava Fig

Strawberry Guava was discovered by wild seedling hunter, Sacred Origin. The figs were discovered on a historic homestead that was once the site of a pioneer settlement on Native American land. Strawberry Guava grows in the same grove as Crema di Lamponi–another highly regarded Sacred Origin fig. The entire grove of figs was also subject to a wildfire that burned the varieties to the ground, nearly bringing them to extinction. However, the figs persisted and still grow there today. Strawberry Guava figs have been grown in California, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania which indicates to us that this is a common variety that will fruit with or without the presence of the fig wasp.

The skin also has a slightly chewy texture and good flavor that makes it really nice for eating. They are medium size and teardrop shaped. Inside the figs is that beautifully strawberry colored pulp. The pulp may have variation in color from red to brown depending on growing conditions. The figs grow to medium size and have a tight eye that prevents spoilage from pests, mold, and splitting.

Terms and Conditions:

***Please be sure to read our Terms and Conditions before purchasing cuttings***

When do we ship cuttings?

Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):

We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state.
