The pulp is a mix of red colors that almost match the outside of the fig. The tangy, citrus taste of this fig is why it is named after lemonade. Its tang mixed with fruity flavor gives the impression of a glass of pink lemonade. Pink Lemonade is also a juicy fig, but with a tight eye it has really good resistance to pests and splitting in humidity. This was discovered back in 2021, and it is a confirmed common variety that does not require fig wasp pollination. While it's been around for 5 years, we do not see many people talking about this variety so it is still pretty rare in the fig community. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
