Iranian Kan White is a cold hardy variety that can withstand overwintering outdoors. The trees produce a breba and a main crop, with the main crop ripening in the fall. These curves create a unique eye at the base of the fig that is wider and longer than usual. The eye on Iranian Kan White can sometimes look like a toothy mouth–like something out of Little Shop of Horrors! Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
