Des Cos figs have primarily green skin, but they develop dusty blue blushing when they are ripe. Pair that with the super dark red pulp and it’s a really striking and pretty color combination on this fig. Des Cos figs grow to medium size and they have a teardrop shape. The trees will also produce a breba and a main crop. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
