The leaves also have attractive waxy margins. Mario was known for his system of numbering figs, but this one was also given the name “Abazia di Novacella” which translates to Novacella Abbey. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
