You can also opt for different colors that may be harder to find, but match your wedding colors and it won't matter when you buy them, even if it's months before your actual wedding date, because these flowers will never wilt or die. Silk Flowers
Silk flowers are a popular choice for brides hoping to have artificial flowers that look just like real ones. They are crafted out of fiber spun by silkworms which produce lifelike flowers. Latex is actually a plant material so when you purchase latex flowers, your design is partially made out of plants! Latex is a milky fluid found in 10% of flowering plants, but the fluid can be molded and hardened to look like anything. Latex flowers are made from molds of real living flowers to simulate the plant with all its natural form and flaws like veins and uneven outlines. They can be designed to look as realistic as possible instead of an eerily perfect look that feels unnatural. They'll look right at home in your wedding bouquet or in your centerpiece and your guests may never be tipped off to knowing they're artificial!
Real-Touch Flowers
Real-touch flowers create a high-quality look similar to those of silk flowers because they also look as realistic as the real deal, they are made out of polyester, polymers, and plastics. While searching for real touch flowers, keep in mind that they can sometimes be marketed as silk flowers, but that technically violates the 1959 Textile Fiber Product Identifications Act of the US Federal Law which states that you cannot market a certain fiber as a different one. So before you make your purchase, make sure you know exactly what you're buying.
Paper Flowers
If you and your friends are creative, then paper flowers can be a great option because these artificial flowers add an artistic edge to wedding decorations that other materials cannot. They are usually made out of tissue paper or crepe paper to appear light and delicate like a real flower would. Paper flowers can be created to look like any kind of flower with roses, daisies, dogwood, and peonies being the most popular examples.
